Gusciora Advocates for Aid
3/16/10 - Assemblyman Gusciora, along with fellow 15th District Assemblywoman Bonnie Watson Coleman, released a statement earlier today urging the governor to restore state funding to the capital city of Trenton. The proposed elimination of $34.9 million in state aid to Trenton was harshly criticized by Assemblyman Gusciora. “That Gov. Christie would choose to eliminate state funding to the seat of state government is short-sighted,” said Gusciora. “The proposal will decimate the growth occurring in the city and effectively destroys the resurgence of business, industry, and community,” he stated, “It forces the residents of the city - many of whom live pay check to pay check - to make up the difference in this funding cut.” Full comments can be read here. |
