In an effort to convince former Vice President Al Gore to run for President in 2008, Reed has begun a statewide effort to rally support for who he calls “the man for our time.”

“It would be great if he announced his re-election campaign...he won once,” said Reed with a smile,  “People are really excited about Al Gore’s message.”

Though the former Vice President has not announced whether or not he is running, supporters have organized a grassroots “Draft Gore” movement to rally support.
